My name is  Marilyn Aracena, I am a doctor of  Acupncture and Oriental Medicine, also a Functional Medicine Practitioner, with special expertise in the treatment of male and female health, facial rejuvenation, weight loss and pain management. I have over a decade of clinical experience in which I have used multidisciplinary approaches to make me a diligent and meticulous healer. 

I completed my Bachelor's in Sccience in Human Services in New York City. I then relocated to Florida with my husband and two children. A few years after moving, I met with a former co-worker who inspired to study Acupuncture. I began reading books about Oriental medicine and believed it was what I wanted to be. I found out it was my passion. 

I enrolled at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in fort Lauderdale and obtained the following degrees:

Bachelor's in Health Science

Master's in Traditional Chinese Medicne

Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

A few years after graduation I continued my education by studying other therapies and modalities so I could provide my patients with the up-to-date knowledge. That is why I offer to my patients Cosmedic Acupuncture and Functional Medicine as well as 

customized herbal formula. 

I became an acupuncturist because it is something I truly believe in and I get to use it everyday to help others.
